The hospital’s lung cancer multidisciplinary clinic detects more early-stage cancer than any other hospital in Michigan, and once a diagnosis is confirmed, the staff quickly designs a comprehensive treatment plan using the most advanced technology and leading-edge procedures. Notable staff and mesothelioma specialists include radiation oncologist Dr. Craig W. Stevens, who is internationally recognized for his research in the areas of lung cancer, malignant pleural mesothelioma, and other chest malignancies, as well as radiation physics and radiobiology.
