Lisa Barrett, RN, is a nurse leader with many years of dedicated bedside experience, recognized for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to clinical excellence. She has a strong focus on Mesothelioma and has supported many patients facing complex and life-altering diagnoses. Lisa played a key role in developing one of the first transitional mesothelioma programs in Boston, designed to bridge the gap between acute hospital care and recovery at home. In collaboration with David Sugarbaker and the International Mesothelioma Program, she helped advance a model of care focused on continuity and whole-person support. Lisa is deeply committed to helping patients and families navigate care with clarity and confidence, ensuring access to high-quality, personalized support during every stage of the mesothelioma journey.
