Alexandra Funaki, DO
Dr. Alexandra Funaki is a diagnostic radiologist at the University of Chicago’s Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine in Hyde Park, Illinois. She specializes in thoracic imaging, helping to diagnose conditions like pleural mesothelioma, lung cancer, and other complex chest and lung conditions.[1]
Education and Career
Dr. Funaki earned her medical degree at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship at the West Suburban Medical Center and her residency at the University of Chicago Medicine.[1]
She is currently a diagnostic radiologist at UChicago Medicine. Dr. Funaki analyzes and interprets chest CT scans and radiographs to diagnose thoracic disease.
