Jamil Khatri, MD
Dr. Jhamil Khatri is a hematologist and oncologist at ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware and its associated Helen F. Graham Cancer Center. He specializes in treating patients diagnosed with lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies, including malignant pleural mesothelioma. He also cares for patients with blood disorders and other cancer diagnoses.[1]
As a member of the thoracic multidisciplinary team, Dr. Khatri works collaboratively with other cancer specialists, including surgeons and radiation oncologists, as well as with supportive and palliative care professionals, primary care practitioners, genetic counselors, nutritional support, physical rehabilitation therapists, psychologists, and social services staff.
Education and Career
Dr. Khatri began his medical education in Pakistan, where he graduated from Dow Medical College. After moving to the United States, he completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, where he also completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology.[1]

Dr. Khatri is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
